Judiciary Course in Accra, Ghana
Our training center in Accra, Ghana is bustling with activities, with this year’s slate even busier than last. Even better, the courses are getting tremendous participation from neighboring West African countries and invaluable recognition in the international community. Our most recent activity is the pilot course for “The Role of the Judiciary in a Democratic Society” which was opened by US Ambassador Gene A. Cretz. His full remarks can be found on the embassy website:

This course, and others held previously at the INL-sponsored Training Center, are part of WACSI, the West Africa Cooperative Security Initiative, designed to reduce transnational crime in the region. The success of the initial courses has resulted a surge of ideas for new programs and cooperative efforts.
