Recruitment
Recruitment success is essential to many government programs, notably those with OCONUS activities, and CTP has a proven track record in this specialized service. Most importantly, we strive to be prudently proactive. We monitor program trends, activity volume, and performance metrics, staying connected with Program Managers so we can anticipate staffing needs. In parallel, we use our recruiting sources and services selectively, sifting and screening the candidates so we always have capable experts ready when needed.
Retention
Retaining quality employees is equally essential to program effectiveness, efficiency, continuity, and morale. We understand this and work continuously to maintain a seasoned workforce with a blend of benefits, salaries, empowerment, and informed leadership. For each employee we hire, we provide specific task guidance, performance tracking, mentoring, and counseling (as needed) to help the employee succeed and the program prosper.
Experienced Management
In the background of successful staffing contracts are the people and processes that make everything run smoothly. On the program side, it means performance monitoring at the personal and program level, with corrective actions to maintain and improve outcomes. Sustained success also requires regular communication with clients as well as prompt and effective responses. The administrative side is less glamorous, but it takes experience and diligence to maintain all the functions that are unnoticed until they break down, including timekeeping, payroll, performance reviews, and personnel paperwork.
Reduced Risk
CTP has the proven ability to plan and execute complex projects. Our standard practice is to submit Quality Control Plans and draft Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP) to every client before program kick-off. We work collaboratively with government stakeholders to customize the QASP to ensure that all lines of effort have clear, measurable milestones that can be reviewed regularly during program execution. If non-conformances are discovered, they are reported analyzed, and corrective action is taken in conjunction with the customer.
Track Record of Success
CTP has supported dozens of U.S. government programs. We have recruited hundreds of experienced staff and subject matter experts in diverse fields: program and project management, logistics support, international security, weapons of mass destruction, strategic trade and export controls, risk management, anti-terrorism, diplomatic security, criminal justice, and strategic investigations. Our placed experts have been consistently recognized as key performers for U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and many U.S. Department of State (DOS) programs, including Export Control and Related Border Security (EXBS), Bureau of Diplomatic Security/Anti-terrorism Assistance (ATA), International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL), Office of Weapons Removal and Abatement (OWRA), and the Diplomatic Security, Anti-terrorism Assistance office. For the latter program alone, CTP provided more than 200 senior-level subject matter experts to support training and security measures associated with border security.
